PURPOSE
My goal with Dozzy's Grill was to share my love and passion for West African cuisine with the entire world. Being in the hospitality industry as long as I have, and trying different foods from many cultures taught me one thing – there is a space for all of our favorite foods to prosper. I wanted to be the bridge that connected West African cuisine to the taste buds of those who have never even thought about trying it.
MISSION
I was able to successfully do this by offering all of my favorite West African dishes and incorporating them into my menu. First, it started with the classic Jollof Rice bowls and then evolved into the different variations of Suya with plantains. The proof is in the pudding, these specific international dishes have been unexplored throughout many parts of Chicago and I would love for you, to help us change that today.
